Location
Let’s work together to pick the location and time for your photo session. I love to hear your ideas for location and I always enjoy going somewhere new! Many clients favor their home, beach or a local park.

Indoor photo shoots
My studio is always available for photo sessions and is ideal for capturing newborns, young children, small groups and professional headshots.
Outdoor photo shoots
Time of day
Location and time of day for the best light need to work hand in hand. I will make recommendations and work with you to schedule during the time of day when areas in the agreed upon location are most evenly shaded and not in direct sunlight. For family sessions, it is important to consider choosing a time of day when your children are typically feeling at their best. Perhaps it may be morning time, following an afternoon nap or after a meal. Happy children make for happy pictures!
Weather conditions
Outdoor sessions are weather dependent. Rain, fog, high winds and very cold temperatures make it challenging to capture beautiful outdoor portraits. At the time of booking, I always book two session dates with the second date reserved as our back up rain/poor weather date.
After Your Session
Online Gallery
Following your session, I curate a gallery of proofs and post them online for you to review in the privacy of your home. As you review the proofs, you can categorize and tag the images you like.

Final Selection
The next step is for us to meet either in person or virtually to review your “favorites” together. I can help compare your preferred images and help to narrow them down to your final selection. At this time, we can also talk about specific retouching of your final image selection, recommended print sizes, special items you may be considering and ideas for gallery layouts for your walls.
Prints + Digital Files
All prints and digital files include custom retouching and are sold separately. I am glad to help select the best print package for you. Prints are typically ready 2 – 3 weeks from the time the order is placed. If you need something sooner, please let me know the date in advance and I will try my best to accommodate you.
Custom Products
Let’s work together to decide the best way to display your treasured photos. We can discuss print and framing options as well as digital display. I can advise where to display your images in your home. I can also design a custom installation of your artwork for your home or office.
